Born in Miami, Florida, where he still resides today, Alan graduated from the University of Miami in 1968 with degrees in Marketing and Management. He entered the Real Estate Business in 1969 and opened his first Real Estate Company in 1972.

Alan started teaching GRI programs in 1974 and in 1978, in addition to operating his Real Estate Company, Alan joined the National Speaking Circuit. He quickly became one of the premier and most sought-after Real Estate speakers and trainers in the US and Canada, presenting Real Estate programs for Companies, Franchises, Boards of REALTORS®, State Associations and National Conventions. He holds his GRI, CRB and CRS designations, has written many books and articles and over the years, has created a myriad of Real Estate products for Brokers and Agents.

In 1990, Alan expanded his Real Estate Business, which became one of the most respected Luxury Real Estate Companies in the United States. With 7 offices and 550 Agents, the Company was acquired by NRT Coldwell Banker in 2002. Through 2007, Alan was with Coldwell Banker as its National Previews® Director.

Today, Alan is one of the premier consultants in Florida. His expertise has provided a platform for assisting Brokers, Managers and Agents. Through his Company, Real Estate Consulting and Training, Inc., Alan trains Brokers and Managers, as well as consulting on mergers, acquisitions and exit strategies. Additionally, his Agent consultation covers marketing, listing and selling.
